Fire Extinguisher Training
Fire Extinguisher Training   OC Fire & Safety provides on-site specialized training at your workplace or your residence to ensure that you will have the confidence and skills necessary to take the proper action should a fire ever occur.

Our Program
Our Fire Extinguisher training program uses a technologically advanced live-fire training simulator to provide the most safe and realistic training possible. Our two part training program begins with a class discussion which includes the following:
  • Overview of the Fire Protection equipment installed in your facility
  • Review of the proper procedures and fire evacuation routes
  • Fire Prevention in your work place
  • Review of types of fire extinguishers and their proper use
  • Identification of the classes of fires
OC Fire & Safety Consultants will then provide hands-on training for all participants to ensure that they are prepared to operate a fire extinguisher effectively in an emergency. The hands-on training will include the inspection before use and operation of a fire extinguisher on an actual fire. Our training system uses smart technology to determine if the student is deploying the extinguisher correctly on the fire.

All participants who successfully complete the fire extinguisher training program will receive a certificate of training indicating that they comply with OSHA 1910.157(g) training requirements. The certificate is valid for one year and must be renewed annually to remain compliant with OSHA requirements.
